Two new antennas and mobile boosters have recently been installed at the school, significantly improving mobile phone reception across the entire site. This upgrade allows staff to make and receive calls anywhere on campus, providing critical support in the event of an emergency, such as a bushfire, and strengthening day‑to‑day communication for the school community.
OX2’s Dinner Hill Wind Farm funded one of the new boosters, helping to ensure reliable connectivity in an environment where safety and clear communication are paramount. Access to consistent mobile coverage provides peace of mind to staff and families alike and supports preparedness in a regional setting.
Badgingarra Primary School plays a vital role in the local community, serving not only as a place of learning but as a central hub for connection, support and community pride. OX2 recognises the importance of strong local schools in sustaining regional communities and is proud to support initiatives that deliver long‑term benefits for students and staff.
The school principal expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support:
“On behalf of our staff and students, I’d like to sincerely thank OX2 for their generous support in funding a new mobile booster at Badgingarra Primary School. Improved mobile reception across our school site is a significant enhancement to safety and day‑to‑day communication, particularly in emergency situations. This contribution will make a real and lasting difference to our school community, and we are incredibly grateful for OX2’s commitment to supporting regional schools.”
