OX2 commit to a Reconciliation Action Plan

OX2 is committed to contributing to Reconciliation guided by First Nations voices and Reconciliation Australia's framework.

What is Reconciliation?

Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians. Reconciliation Australia's vision of reconciliation is based and measured on five dimensions:

Reconciliation Action Plans

Since 2006, Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) have enabled organisations to take meaningful, sustainable, and strategic steps to advance reconciliation.

Built around the core pillars of relationships, respect, and opportunities, RAPs create shared value by advancing economic equity and self-determination for First Nations peoples, while strengthening organisation reputation, attracting talent and supporting social licence.

Outcomes

Reconciliation Australia collate data from RAPs to produce an annual report that presents the cumulative impact of the Reconciliation Action Plan program’s activity. The 2024 report shows the substantial cumulative impact of RAPs activities across all walks of Australian life.

Key findings from the 2024 RAP Impact Report include:

OX2 is proud to be developing a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This process begins with engaging our staff and leadership to strengthen understanding of the importance of reconciliation and looking at opportunities for our organisation to contribute to meaningful change. We look forward to progressing this important journey and sharing the launch of our RAP in 2026.
